About Dreadnaught Publishing
At Dreadnaught Publishing, we create games that reward imagination, strategy, discovery, and meaningful choices.
Whether you're exploring forgotten ruins, mastering new tactics, uncovering ancient secrets, or outmaneuvering your rivals, our goal is simple: every decision should matter, and every victory should feel earned.
With more than 65 years of combined gaming experience, we've spent a lifetime around game tables, as players, storytellers, designers, and fans. That experience has taught us that the best games don't simply entertain; they create unforgettable moments that players continue talking about long after the game is over.
We’re Just getting started.
Alice Zabielski
CEO & Founder
For more than two decades, Alice has been immersed in the world of tabletop gaming. As CEO and founder of Dreadnaught Publishing, she combines a lifelong passion for games with a relentless commitment to quality, ensuring every product reflects the company's vision of innovation, craftsmanship, and fun.
Alice oversees the business side of Dreadnaught Publishing while also serving as idea fount, playtester, project coordinator, and the driving force behind bringing each project to completion. She believes that every rule should be clear, every component should have a purpose, and every game should create memorable experiences around the table.
She is also a firm believer that the best games are built alongside their communities. Listening to players, embracing constructive feedback, and continually refining each project are central to her philosophy and the culture of Dreadnaught Publishing.
Favorite Game: Ticket to Ride • Passion: Building communities through games.
"Great games aren't finished when they're designed—they're finished when players can't wait to play them again."
Christian Matecki
Chief Game Designer
Christian is the creative force behind Dreadnaught Publishing's game systems and the principal designer of most of Dreadnaught titles including the Mayhem RPG. Rather than following established conventions, he enjoys challenging them, creating mechanics that reward creativity, discovery, and meaningful player choice. A game shouldn’t rehash someone else’s ideas, but create a new, never before seen way to play. New ideas are what we strive to bring to the table, to improve on what people have experienced, to avert any missteps and discover new ways to experience favorite topics.
His design philosophy is simple: players should constantly discover new possibilities. Whether developing innovative combat systems, building deep magic mechanics, or designing entirely new ways for players to interact with the game world, Christian focuses on creating experiences that remain engaging long after the first adventure.
He believes the greatest moments in gaming come not from rolling the highest numbers, but from the unexpected ideas players create together.
Favorite Game: Talisman • Favorite Aspect: Designing mechanics that reward discovery.
"The best rule is the one players remember because it created an unforgettable story."
Yogi Lashbrook
Continuity Coordinator & Playtesting Director
Every great world needs someone who keeps its history, rules, and details consistent. As Continuity Coordinator, Yogi ensures that the worlds created by Dreadnaught Publishing remain coherent, believable, and internally consistent, no matter how large they grow.
Yogi also plays a vital role in playtesting, helping identify areas where mechanics can be improved while ensuring that complexity never comes at the expense of fun. His careful attention to detail allows players to immerse themselves in the world without being distracted by inconsistencies.
From reviewing rules interactions to challenging assumptions during development, Yogi helps transform ambitious ideas into polished game experiences. The status quo is what was, not what should be now.
Favorite Game: • Favorite Aspect: Finding the tiny details that make worlds believable.
"The little details are what convince players that a world is real."
You
Our most important team member
Every game we create is shaped by the people who play them.
Whether you're offering a suggestion, pointing out a rule that could be clearer, discovering an unexpected strategy, or simply telling us what you enjoyed, your voice helps make our games better. Some of the biggest improvements to our games have come directly from player feedback, thoughtful discussions, and ideas shared by our community.
At Dreadnaught Publishing, we don't see feedback as criticism, we see it as collaboration. Great games aren't built behind closed doors. They're refined through countless playtests, honest conversations, and players who care enough to share their thoughts.
When you play one of our games, you're not just joining our community. You're helping build the future of Dreadnaught Publishing. At Dreadnaught Publishing, we don't design games for our players.
Our Philosophy
At Dreadnaught Publishing, we don't believe great games are created by one person. Every project is shaped through collaboration, countless hours of playtesting, and the invaluable feedback of our community. Together, we strive to create games that inspire imagination, reward clever thinking, and create stories players will remember for years to come.
Our mission is simple: create games we'd be excited to play, then work with our community until they're games you'll be excited to play too.
Welcome to Dreadnaught Publishing. We're just getting started.
